CONKLIN, Samuel & Nellie
My grandfather, Peter Murray (b. 1848 Scotland) arrived Ohio in 1874 and married Henrietta Thornell. They produced several children of which Nellie Murray was one. She was supposedly born in Lockland, OH on 15 Sep 1879. She appeared in documents related to the probate of Peter's will in 1927. Here it stated Nellie was the daughter of Peter and lived in Elkhart, Indiana. Her marriage record says she married Samuel Walter Conklin on 31 Oct 1900. I would like to be able to find out more about this family. How might I verify their presence in Elkhart, their childrens name, birthdates, and their demise.

Jean-Pierre TONTLINGER is born around 1885-90 in FINGIG, Grand- Duchy of Luxembourg, Europe. He left the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg for the U.S.A. around 1905-1908 and lived first in EVANSTON, Chicago, Illinois. From about 1928 at least, he was living in SAINT PAUL, Minnesota. The last known address is SAINT PAUL, Minnesota, P.O. Box 15. I've found a picture of him, shot probably between 1920 and 1930 and taken by the photographer Mister COAN 499, Wabasha str. Saint Paul, Minnesota.

As far as I know, Jean-Pierre TONTLINGER had an indirect contact with his family in Luxembourg in 1928, probably by the notary Mister Léon BOURG in CAP (Grand-Duchy of Luxemboug) concerning the succession of his mother Miss DUREN Julie who died in 1928. For other reasons of family succession he was in contact with the same notary in april 1946.
