Indiana's Cherokee people.

Our Mission
The mission of the Lone Wolf Band of Cherokee Indians is to bring together all the Indiana people of Cherokee blood, regardless of quantum, under one union. To open a medium of education so that our people can learn the ways of our ancestors, including the traditions, customs, ceremonies, beliefs and languages. To afford our people the opportunity to carry on these valued ways as they so desire.

As with our ancestors and those before them, we are here as the protectors of Mother Earth and it shall also be our mission to protect and to restore her lands as they were when our ancestors walked upon them.

To bring honor to our ancestors and to always honor the one great Creator and to carry out his commandments for our people.

It shall be our mission to create a voice of the Indiana Cherokee people that can be heard among the voices of other Indiana Native People and to bring that voice to the people of Indiana.

Our Goal
It is our goal to introduce our culture and the needs of all Native Peoples through educational programs, so that we can teach non Native People about the real culture and history of Americans First People.

It shall also be our goal to support those Indiana Native People with artistic talents and to open a medium so that they can show these talents to our people and the public.

It is our goal to purchase and restore woodlands and to allow the use of these lands to our brothers and sisters for ceremonies.

To build campgrounds (especially designed for elders and people of challenges) within these restored woodlands so that people can take time to live in the peace that our ancestors did, with Mother Earth. To allow them the time to become balanced and one with nature and all things.

It shall also be a goal within these restored wooded areas to provide a home and safe refuge for all the woodland creatures.

To support Native Peoples causes.

To always assist those Native People who are in need and less fortunate.

To assist the ill and those people of challenges through special events and programs. In the name of the Creator we shall do these things.
