Every year we make hundreds of pounds of peanut brittle for sale. Work days usually begin the last couple weeks of October and continue every Saturday until about the first week in December. We sell it throughout the holidays and at our annual cookie walk in December.
Each year in June we have a chicken Bar-B-Q. Nelson's Golden Glow makes all the chickens. Tickets are sold in advance. Come and get some chicken. Baked goods are usually sold as well. ***THIS YEAR'S CHICKEN BBQ WILL BE SATURDAY, JUNE 15 FROM 10 AM TO 3 PM. PLAN ON SOME GOOD EATS! ***
In October we have a Shop-O-Rama. Representatives from Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Creative Memories, Party Lite Candles and many more are there for your early Christmas shopping or just shopping in general.
This year the Mother/Child banquet will be held on May
23, 2001 at 6:30 pm - "It's a Tea Party". Bring your favorite tea
cup. Join us for a delicious meal, program, and special guest who is anxious
to meet the children! There will also be door prizes! ***This is for everyone
- Church, Preschool, and Scout families*** Stop in the church office to get
your tickets.
