For the last three years, The Chesterton Art Center has been host to a "Gingerbread House" contest.  What makes it interesting is that the public is invited to share in the fun and merriment by entering the contest.

The gingerbread church to the right was not made by a professional. It was created by two men at the Indiana State Prison in Michigan City.

The prisoners who made the church are two of 16 students enrolled in a Culinary Arts program at the State facility

The voting for the best gingerbread house continues -- come to the Art Center and vote for your choice

No eating allowed!!!
