Joshua and his family returned home today from his Make A Wish trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. We all had an excellent time. The weather for the most part was great, in the high 70's. Final count on the autograph books was almost 40 and about, well too many shirts, hats and toys to count!!! We had to say good-bye to the castle and all of the wonderful people. We were sad to leave!!! We built many memories and grew very close as a family. We think that in the future we will be able to use the memories to help pull us through the hard times. Josh was as happy as we have seen him in months. The other boys were happy to see Josh so happy and mom and dad were happy to see all of the boys happy!!!

Breakfast with Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, Chip and Dale and a special photo session for the family. We spent the day at Universal Studios and Nickelodeon till about 5:30 and then we were treated to a feast at the Hardrock Cafe. Of course it was free. The family received shirts and buttons from the Hardrock Cafe along with great service. The highlight of the day was our personal tour of Jaws, Ghostbusters and Back to the Future ride twice!!! All the boys enjoyed the water slide located within the Fivel Goes West Adventure Land. Josh and Chaz met with Barney and his friends after his show and were treated like gold. Needless to say Jason hated it, you know he has out grown that!!! In the evening we played games and ate lots of ice cream.

Breakfast with Doug and Porkchop from Nickelodeon. Off to Disney's MGM Studios all day till about 5:00 p.m. Josh really liked the Star Wars ride and the Indiana Jones show. He was privileged to front row seats at the Ace Venture show and a personal meeting with him. Jason liked speaking with Ace and of course the 13 story drop from the Hollywood Towers. Chaz got scared on this ride!!! That evening we were guests of honor at the magic show back at the village. The kids really enjoyed watching as the magician made fun of their mother that evening.
Tuesday, February 6, 1996:
We were at Disney's Magic Kingdom all day till about 6:30 p.m. We covered the whole park because Josh received a special button that permits all of us to VIP treatment everywhere. We did not wait in line to do anything, except the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House. Jason and Chaz really enjoyed Space Mountain and Splash Mountain! We returned to a pool party, but it was too cold to swim, and met lots of good people and other special children.

We rose at 4:30 am to catch a ride on a Limo to the airport with a stop at McDonalds. We arrived at around 12:00 and began to enjoy ourselves. The place that we stayed, "Give Kids the World Village" was a wonderful village. It has a game room with 15 of the hottest games and the cost FREE. The magical castle there had a talking clock, court jester, mystical forest full of slides and games, magical mirror that when you looked at yourself you would appear as a king, a wishing well that talked to you, an old fashion carousel that we all rode many times. A stocked pond with the most fascinating gazebo and ship to fish off of. A trail through mother nature leading us into the play ground filled with a real plane and fire engine complete with swings and slides. A full size pool with lots of sunning area. A caboose that is an ice cream parlor in which you may order all the ice cream that you could consume with what ever you may want on it!!! Oh did I mention the Ginger Bread House where we ate our meals if we chose to. Well, there at breakfast time the Disney and Nickelodeon characters would come and eat and play with us. All of the above was of course wheel chair accessible!!! We haven't even left the complex yet!!!
