Welcome to Cross Creek Ranch. We are grateful for the opportunities we have had to own close descendants of the 'Golden Cross' of Azraff/Ferzon breeding created by the Comar and Gainey farms. When DeWell Arabians near us bought out the remaining Comar herd, it was a wonderful chance to see the crabbet and CMK breeding in the beautiful Azraff/Ferzon horses that typifies what we want in an Arabian: Athletic, Typey, and Versatile, with a disposition suited for the whole family. Remember when the Arabian was well known as a family horse? We do. Remember when Arabians were entered in many performance divisions in the same show and shown by many members of the family? We do! Remember when that same show horse was the kid's babysitter and a great trail horse, too? We do! These CMK Arabians are not only versatile in the show arena, they are being used in endurance, gaming, and as all around pleasure horses and treasured companions. With Azraff and Ferzon sons and daughters from the Comar herd and the wonderful breeding from Twin Brook Arabians in Iowa (with my all time favorite, Rapport), we have bred horses that are equally at home in the show ring, on the trail, or in Petsmart! They've got the large, dark eye, arched neck, broad chest, strong hind-quarters, and excellent bone mass that we prize.
